Plano Senior boasted one of the strongest cross country outfits in the Metroplex this past fall and if the weekend’s Lake Highlands Invitational track meet was any sort of precedent, the Wildcats already hold the upper hand in the district’s long distance scene.

The 2010 track and field season may be in its early stages, but getting a leg up on the field is always a welcome feather in the cap for any squad and the Plano East girls track team can attest to that.
