Anything flammable, corrosive, toxic, poisonous, reactive, or explosive (including old paint or batteries) will not be accepted.
When: Saturday, March 23, 2013
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Independence Square
Southeast corner of Independence Pkwy and Parker Rd.
Plano, Texas 75023
Who: Get Organized Month (normally celebrated in January) is locally recognized by NAPO each March to raise awareness of the benefits of getting organized. NAPO is a group of about 4,200 Professional Organizers dedicated to helping individuals and businesses bring order and efficiency to their lives. In addition to serving Professional Organizers, NAPO aims to help consumers and those interested in becoming Professional Organizers. NAPO offers programs, information, and guidance for each of these groups. For more information, visit http://www.napo.net/
Why: GO Month is a time for chapters to give back to their local communities. This year, NAPO-DFW will make a difference by volunteering its services to host a Spring Fling - an opportunity for anyone to donate gently used or new items that they no longer need. NAPO-DFW volunteers and Professional Organizers will sort the items and distribute them to the A Christian Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity ReStore Plano, Friends of Plano Public Library, Prom Shop Project, and the Collin County Animal Services Shelter.
