Lamar Middle School has entered the Follett Challenge to recognize how hard its students and teachers are working at applying technology, content and creativity in ways that engage students, foster literacy and promote critical thinking. As part of the competition, school officials created a short video about what makes the program unique.
Lamar is in the running to be named one of the world’s most innovative schools and is asking for support. There’s $200,000 on the line. The video can be found at http://follettchallenge.com/video.cfm?id=317. Voting runs through March 18.
