Parker Murry, Plano West Football, selected for 2013-76th Annual Oil Bowl Classic

Parker Murry, Senior 2013-Plano West Wolves offensive center, has been selected to represent the Texas team in the 76th Annual Muskat Shrine Oil Bowl Classic in Wichita Falls on June 15, 2013.
The Muskat Shrine Temple's game is the longest-running high school all-star game in the country. Not only that, it also has an interesting format Texas vs. Oklahoma.
Murry recently signed his Letter of Intent to play football for Coach Willie Fritz at Div-1 FCS - Sam Houston State beginning in Fall 2014. Murry played Center for the Wolves as a three-year varsity starter. In 2011, he was selected 1st Team All District, 1st Team All Collin County, and 1st Team VYPE Offensive Center. In 2012, as a senior, he was chosen 2nd Team All District and 2nd Team All Collin County Center.
During his time at Plano West, Murry was selected as Offensive Player of the Week four times. Additionally, he threw shot put for the Wolves, winning 1st Place in District 8-5A in 2011and 2nd Place in 10-5A 2012. As a student he maintained a 3.5 GPA.
