Titan headed to Houston
Centennial senior Ranthony Texada will be playing in an unfamiliar venue this weekend.
The Titans cornerback and return man has accepted an invitation to play in the Offense-Defense High School All-American Bowl at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
Texada was recently named to the AP second team all-state team, joining Centennial teammates Austin Shoemake (second team kicker) and KJ Smith (honorable mention).
Correction
The Dec. 21 issue of the Frisco Enterprise featured an error on the 9-4A All-District football list.
Little Elm junior lineman Justin Creed was named to the second-team offense but was incorrectly listed as being from Centennial. Creed was chosen as one of two centers on the second-team offense for his contributions to the Lobos during the 2012 season.
The junior lineman joined 10 other Little Elm players on the all-district team.
