BOYER
Gregory Trent Boyer Sr. of Allen, Texas, passed away January 29, 2013, at the age of 51.
He was born July 9, 1961, in Yerba Buena, California.
Greg grew up in California and Illinois. He graduated from high school in Naperville, Illinois.
Greg married Joanne Jordan on March 4, 2003, in McKinney, Texas. He worked for Southwestern Bell, MCI Worldcom, and TTI as a technical engineer. Greg enjoyed entertaining, cooking, wearing hats, and singing karaoke while playing the harmonica.
Greg was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen. He was an Army veteran of the 3rd Signal Brigade.
He is survived by wife, Joanne Jordan, of Allen, Texas; children, Robin Sanders and husband, Shon, of Hewitt, Texas, Gregory Trent Boyer Jr. and wife, Heather, of Savannah, Texas, Jodi Salinas and husband, Judson Hernandez, of Austin, Texas, and Heather Grattan of Savannah, Texas; grandchildren, Riley Sanders, Audrey Sanders, Haylee Pallotto, Kandyce Pallotto and Jaxon Boyer; mother, Arlene Boyer, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; sister, Mindy Brown and husband, Mike, of Simpsonville, South Carolina; nephews, Christopher and Bryan Brown; aunt Caryl Tishler; and cousin Darla Raptis.
Greg was preceded in his death by parents, Charles and Sheryl Boyer; brother, David Boyer, son Robert Salinas, and cousin Daron Beck.
A memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 in the afternoon, Saturday, February 9, 2013, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1515 N. Greenville Avenue, Allen, Texas, 75002 with Father Tim Church officiating.
