While Flower Mound's swimming and diving program emerged as the elite from District 5-5A, with the Jaguars (189 points) and Lady Jaguars (201.5) sweeping their respective titles Friday in The Colony, Hebron's squad still managed to find success and advance multiple swimmers to this weekend's Region II Meet at the Keller Natatorium.

The Hawks finished second (93) as a team on the boys side, while the Lady Hawks placed fourth (58.50). Marcus (106) and Coppell (100) followed in second and third in girls with the Cowboys (77) earning third behind Hebron.

First-place finishers for Hebron included the boys 200-yard medley relay (Joshua Clothier, Mason Mitchell, Devyn Hill and Donzie Lilly; 1:39.04), the boys 200 free relay (Lilly, Mitchell, Hill and Clothier; 1:29.92), Clothier in the 50 free (21.55) and 100 free (46.85) and Caroline Korst in the 100 butterfly (59.18) and 100 backstroke (59.20).

Also earning medals for the Lady Hawks were Samantha Rao in the 200 free (third, 1:58.86), Mason in the 200 free (third, 1:47.73), Briana Liu in 1-meter diving (320.30) and the 200 free relay team consisting of Risa Toyama, Shae White, Rao and Korst (third, 1:45.97).

Additional Hawks reaching the stand were Mitchell in the 200 free (third, 1:47.73) and Lilly in the 50 free (second, 22.52).

The top six finishers in each event qualify for regionals. Rounding out that list are the girls 200 medley relay, the boys 400 free relay, Hill in the 50 free, Lilly in the 100 free, Mitchell in the 500 free and Rao in the 100 breaststroke.
