Main Street construction accident results in fatality

A construction accident at Main Street in Frisco has resulted in a fatality.
Frisco firefighters first reported to the incident, which occurred in a construction trench, at about 4 p.m. Allen firefighters are on their way to assist as that department maintains trench rescue equipment that services the region, city officials said.
The city has announced the section of Main Street between Hillcrest and Coit has shut down. Motorists are encouraged to use Preston Road, Rolater Road and Eldorado Parkway.
