Track and field: Running to Corpus: 2012 Summer Games of Texas underway

Competitors in track and field continued their quests for qualify for the 2012 TAAF Summer Games of Texas, which took place this weekend in Corpus Christi, by competing in a TAAF Region IV qualifier in early July at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
The top six finishers in each event qualified for the Games. Region IV consists of programs from Arlington, Bedford, Burleson, Colleyville, Coppell (Mercury Track Club), Corinth, Denton, Euless, Flower Mound, Granbury, Grapevine, Haltom City, Highland Village, Hurst, Keller, Lewisville, Little Elm, Mansfield, Mineral Wells, North Richland Hills, Roanoke, Saginaw, Southlake, Stephenville, The Colony, Trophy Club, Watauga, Weatherford and White Settlement.
Listed below are the swimmers that qualified for state from Lewisville, Flower Mound, Coppell, The Colony and Southlake. Programs from Westside Baptist Church and Antioch Christian Fellowship also competed and featured competitors from Lewisville and Flower Mound.
