Janis Lynn Cunningham
Janis Lynn Cunningham of Anna, Texas, passed away January 6, 2013, at the age of 54.
She was born July 20, 1958, to Delynn and Shirley (Glance) Peterson in Kimball, Nebraska.
Janis married Cecil Burl Cunningham on November 21, 2004, in Denison, Texas. She was passionate in her work as a nurse. Janis was a horse lady, trainer and loved the outdoors.
Janis is survived by her husband, Burl Cunningham of Anna, Texas; daughter, Catrina Perkins of Anna, Texas; son, Nichols Perkins of Tombean, Texas; parents, Delynn and Shirley Peterson of Fort Collins, Colorado; brothers, Brad Peterson, Phoenix, Arizona and Mike Peterson of California; sister, Kay McBride, Kimble, Nebraska.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas, with Rev. Scott Leslie officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
