Swimming: Carroll caps another perfect fall season

The entire city of Keller couldn't match Southlake Carroll in the pool last week as the Dragons claimed the title at the second annual "Battle of 1709". Carroll, which remained unbeaten on the fall season, faced off against an all-star team from Keller but still cruised.
The Dragons boys team beat the Keller All-Stars, 162-138, while the Lady Dragons won their competition, 171-144.
The meet was the teams' final event of the fall.
The Dragons and Lady Dragons resume competition Jan. 12 at the Duel in the Pool at the Katy ISD Natatorium.
