Becky McBride of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 17, 2012, at the age of 73.
She was born November 20, 1939, in Aledo, Texas, to E. M. and Mattie (Evans) Whitmire.
Becky married Billy Joe McBride in McKinney. She worked for Metro Linen in McKinney for 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Glen Harden and wife Shirley of Princeton, Billy Ray McBride of McKinney, Jerry McBride and Susan Melton of McKinney and Peggy Edwards of McKinney; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Himelright of Leonard, Grace Camper of Princeton, Carolyn Jones of Princeton, and Helen McBride of Farmersville; and brother, Jack Whitmire of Nobility.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, E.M. and Mattie Whitmire; husband, Billy Joe McBride; children, Carol Sue and John Paul McBride; sister Billie Spradlin; and brother, Big Jr. Whitmire.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Fitzhugh Cemetery, Forest Grove Community, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
