Local kids with critical illnesses, like Alyssa from Garland, are thankful that Make-A- Wish gave them the opportunity to fulfill a dream. Alyssa wanted to be in the Army, and for a day, her wish was granted. You can help other kids fulfill their wishes, just by writing a letter to Santa.
Macys is raising dollars for local Make-A-Wish kids for the fifth year, through the Macy's Believe Campaign. Individuals can bring their stamped letters to Santa to any Dallas / Fort Worth-area Macy's to support the North Texas Make-A-Wish chapter- schools, churches, and neighborhoods can get involved! Macy's will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million, for every letter dropped in the Macy's Santa Letterboxes between November 2 and December 24.
The Believe campaign runs from the beginning of November through December 24, 2012. You can find out more at macys.com/believe.
In celebration of National Believe Day on December 14th, Macy's and Make-A-Wish will grant more than 50 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions across the country on one day as part of "Wishes Across America" -- and the real Santa from the Macy's Parade will be visiting Dallas that day!
