By Dan Eakin, deakin@starlocalnews.com
Tony Moline will leave the position of president and chief executive officer of the Coppell Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 23 in order to accept a similar position with the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce.
Moline, who has been the Coppell chamber president and CEO since May 2011, also manages the Coppell Community Development Foundation. He serves on the North Lake College North Campus Executive Community Council and also is an active member of the Coppell Rotary Club.
Casey Klein, chairman of the chamber board of directors, said, “Tony has done an outstanding job leading our chamber to new heights. Our recent growth and success will continue on with our next president/CEO. The chamber’s number one priority is our membership, and will continue to keep them updated through this transition.”
He added, “It has truly been a pleasure to work for this community as president of the chamber of commerce. I believe the chamber has grown to serve the business members and residents of Coppell and will continue to do so. The leadership in this community has been amazing and I will miss working with such talented people.”
Prior to coming to Coppell, Moline was vice president of the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce. He is a 2006 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and is a 2012 graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management at the University of Arizona.
Cedar Park, with a population of about 48,000, is in Travis County.
