Ronald Lawrence Dunham
Ronald Lawrence Dunham, 75, of Powderly, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2012 in Paris, Texas.
He was born on February 19, 1937, in Rattan, Oklahoma, to Lawrence and Sally (Walker) Dunham. Ronald married Dorothy Malone on January 28, 1961, in Lewisville, Texas. Dorothy preceded him in death on April 16, 2009.
He married Katherine Lowe in March, 2010, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ronald proudly served his country in the Oklahoma National Guard. He went on to work as an airline mechanic with Aviall/GE.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Dunham of Powderly, Texas; children, Barry Dunham and wife, Missy of Norman, Oklahoma, Rhonda Watkins and husband, Ray of Corinth, Texas, and Tim Dunham and wife, Jennifer of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Meggan, Chelsea, Courtney, Casey, Madeline, Haley, Georgia, Jake and James; sisters, Mona Allen and husband, Tony of Paris, Texas, and Linda Watkins and husband, Bill of Paris, Texas; and numerous other extended family and friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Dunham; parents, Sally and Morris Rains; his loving wife of 41 years, Dorothy Malone Dunham; and his brother, Barry Dunham.
The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco with Pastor Rocky Burrow conducting burial services.
