Billye Jean Hamilton
Billye Jean Hamilton of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 21, 2012, at the age of 82.
She was born October 11, 1930, to Isom Ruben and Wayland Cynthia (Smith) Edwards in Nuyaka, Oklahoma.
Billye married Edward Alexander Hamilton on June 29, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was an active member in County Lane Community, where she enjoyed her neighbors and dancing several nights a week. She participated in the Diamonds Singing Group and visited local churches with the Diamonds.
She is survived by her son, Philip Edward Hamilton of Vonore, Tennessee; daughter, Pammela Howerton and husband, Bradley, of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Darlene Elaine Hamilton of Rochester, New York, Olivia Leigh Hamilton of Rochester, New York, Elizabeth Leigh Billingsley of New York, New York, Abigail Leigh Bower of McKinney, Texas, Rebecah Leigh Petree of Dallas, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Jorden Mozer, Bella Ryan Caruso, Coulter James Bower, Lillian Olivia Petree and Piper Madelein Petree.
Billye was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward Hamilton.
