Bertha Gallegos
Bertha Gallegos, 78, of Prosper, Texas, passed away November 7, 2012.
She was born April 2, 1934, in Mexico to Cliofas Leyva and Petra (Hernandez) Leyva. On September 17, 1951, she married Jose Gallegos in Raymonville, Texas; he preceded her in death on January 11, 2009.
Bertha was a homemaker most recently. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Frisco, Texas.
Bertha is survived by her children, Olivia Mongaras and husband, James, of Dallas, Texas, Gloria Rosalez and husband, Felipe, of Wylie, Texas, Petra Anzualda and husband, Robert, of McKinney, Texas, Concepcion Gallegos and wife, Dorothy, of Prosper, Texas, and Carolina Gallegos of Prosper, Texas; grandchildren, Joey, Miguel, Teresa, Gabriela, Robert Lee, Lisa, Lauren, Devin, Taylor, Jessica, Justin, Alma and Rosendo; and great-grandchildren, Miguel, Christina, Selena, Zinneah, Nicholas, Savannah, Mikayla, Ethan, Lucas, Julie, Aiden, Mia, Daniela, Cindy, Marcos and Drea.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jose Gallegos Jr.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas, 75034. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary service at 6:30 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
