Presidential Achievements

Months away and yet November is causing me insomnia. I worry. I fret. I'm in disbelief that there's a chance Obama might be re-elected.

I'm no fan. Obama scares the heck out of me. It's not that's he's liberal. It's not that he's a Democrat. He's in a party of his own, with an agenda that has nothing to do with improving this country or benefitting its citizens. And it most certainly has nothing, nada, zero, not one dang thing to do with race. Let me make myself perfectly clear here: Skin color is not an issue.

The problem is the person and I've never felt so strongly about or feared a president as much as Obama. Carter didn't bother me. I didn't agree with Clinton's policies, principles and/or positions -- and no this is not a reference to sex with that woman. While some of Clinton's actions made me sick, I would gladly welcome Bill back into the White House in lieu of the current officeholder.

Nevertheless there are things Obama has achieved, areas where he has excelled and accomplishments noteworthy.

He reigns as being the most unknown president in history. Missing are stories, photographs, childhood friends, school mates, college roommates, aunts, uncles, cousins, ex-girlfriends, running buddies, paper trails: anyone or anything remotely associated with him and his former life.

He is the Master Czar Maker.

He has excelled in averting and ignoring governmental checks and balances and overriding federal laws by creating his own -- and at a most beneficial time and to a very healthy degree in an effort to solicit the Hispanic vote.

Obama is the Great Divider. Not in my life has there been such divisiveness in this nation and the pitting of groups. There are liberals, conservatives, Democrats, Republicans, Independents. There are whites, blacks, Hispanics, Latinos, Native Americans, and Asians among others. There are adult illegal immigrants, under-age illegal immigrants. There is the tea party. The Occupy Movement. The insured, underinsured, semi-insured, Medicare and Medicaid recipients, senior citizens, labor union members, middle class, working class. The entitled and the earners. Those who want, expect and demand handouts and the hard-working people who pay their way. There's that notorious despicable, despised 1 percent who should be banished to a desert island so the remaining 99 percent can turn on one another.

Obama is a highly successful attitude changer. There was a time in this country when wealth was a worthy goal, an aspiration and something attainable in a nation wherein anyone could achieve such status through effort and determination. Not now. Being rich is a stigma to be loathed, something to be burdened with a heavy load to carry.

Now for a real milestone. Obama recently completed his 100th round of golf during his presidency. Though a huge accomplishment, he has a way to go to earn the title of The Most Golf Playing President -- albeit there is still time. President Woodrow Wilson reportedly played 1,200 rounds.

However, Obama has succeeded in surpassing his predecessor. Bush played only 24 rounds of golf during his first two years in office because, six months into the war in Iraq, he quit the sport. "I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal," it's reported he said during a 2008 interview. Oh please. How selfless of a commander-in-chief.

Like any good husband and father, Obama has been very responsible in making certain his family steps out of their comfort zones, experiences different cultures, travels the world and enjoys life. Yes, of course, vacations are necessary, pertinent to a president's well-being. He and his family need down time, fun time, opportunities to forget monumental issues such as the struggling economy, unemployment and his reelection bid.

The President is a great orator and very gifted speaker, talking much, saying little, revealing nothing. He's a superstar, appearing on many and a variety of TV shows.

He excels in arrogance, surpassing Nancy Pelosi and Eric Holder.

No doubt the President has taken this nation to great heights and unparalleled levels. The National Debt has increased more during Obama's one term than it did during the two terms of George W. Bush. According to CBS News, "If Mr. Obama wins re-election, and his budget projections prove accurate, the National Debt will top $20 trillion in 2016, the final year of his second term. That would mean the Debt increased by 87 percent, or $9.34 trillion, during his two terms."

If the President has been this great thus far, just imagine what all he can accomplish without the worry of reelection if he gains another term. Limitless possibilities. Quite literally.
