Prestonwood Christian Academy senior Christian Morgan has reneged his oral commitment to play football at Florida State.
The Lions' tight end announced his decision Thursday via Twitter.
"After a lot of prayer and thought with my family and friends, I've decided to de-commit from Florida State," Morgan tweeted.
Morgan had previously committed to play for the Seminoles on June 26 but since then, reports had surfaced that he was still making the recruiting rounds. In June, the other three finalists alongside FSU were Arkansas, Baylor and Ole Miss.
A four-star prospect currently ranked No. 15 in the nation among tight ends according to Rivals, the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Morgan currently leads all Prestonwood receivers with 13 catches for 181 yards and four touchdowns.
