BREAST CANCER INFORMATION SESSION

The Greater Frisco Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. will host a Breast Cancer Information Session Saturday, October 6 at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco. Renown Cancer Researcher Dr. Alexzander Asea will join Breast Cancer Survivors in conversation about innovative treatment and new research in the area.

Asea is the Effie and Wofford Cain Endowed Chair in Clinical Pathology and Division Chief of Investigative Pathology at Scott & White Healthcare and the Texas A&M Health Science Center. He is a preeminent authority on Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) and will share the results of clinical trials and present information on the innovative drug therapies for its treatment as well as advancements in the development of vaccines.

Continuing Education Units (CEU) are available through the University of Texas at Arlington, Continuing Education Division for Enterprise Development at a cost of $20.00 for 4 CEU hours.

The session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Stonebriar Country Club is located at 5050 Country Club Drive in Frisco.

Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated is a nonprofit African American mother�s organization with a membership of nearly 10,000 whose aims and objectives focus on the educational, cultural, civic, health and social endeavors of children. Twenty-eight women with a common vision to see their children mature into African-American leaders in their community and across the nation and the world established the Greater Frisco Chapter in 2008.
