He is survived by his wife, Lurline M. Dowell; his brothers Reverend Charles Pat Dowell (Carolyn Dowell) and Reverend Edward Dowell (Cindy Dowell); sons Dr. Mark Dowell and Dr. David Dowell(Dr. Athena Daniolos); grandchildren Marquette and Garrett Dowell (Mark), James and Jonathan Dowell (David), Diana and Brandon Maciag , and Christopher Mills (Dennis Maciag). He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton E. Dowell, Sr. and Tina Mae Milligan.
