Cathy Tigelaar of Allen, Texas passed away August 27, 2012.
She was born March 9, 1944 to Charles Edward and Naomi Rae (Dedelow) Cutler in Providence, Rhode Island.Cathy received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Purdue University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois.
She was an elementary school teacher who loved children and was passionate about teaching. Cathy shared her joy of life with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Tigelaar of Allen, Texas; son, Brian Tigelaar and wife Michele; granddaughters, Chloe, Madison, and Avery all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son, Jeremy Tigelaar and wife Erin, granddaughter, Ella all of Austin, Texas; and her sister, Susan Gaunt of Allen, Texas.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Naomi Cutler.
A memorial service was held on August 31, 2012 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. June Franck officiating.
