Siblings Won Medals at the USA Taekwondo National Junior Olympic Championships

Sister and brother Aurora and Eric Tong, Southlake's Rockenbaugh Elementary School students, won medals at the USA Taekwondo National Junior Olympic Championships held Dallas this year from June 29 to July 4, 2012. USAT is the official organization for the US Olympic Taekwondo Team. Almost 3,200 competitors from across the country gathered at the Dallas Convention Center for this six day event to compete in various disciplines, including sparring, forms, board breaking and weapons. Eric captured the bronze medal and Aurora captured the silver medal in forms in their respective divisions. In addition, Aurora won another silver medal in sparring for her division. They train under Master Jonathan Harwick at NTA-Colleyville.
