Frank Crosson, age 83 of McKinney, Texas passed away May 15, 2012.
He was born November 19, 1928 in McKinney to George Dewy and Mary (Blazer) Crosson.Frank married Delois (Hardin) Crosson on January 19, 1951.
Frank was a horse trader throughout his adult life but would buy, sell or trade anything to make a little money. He was a mentor to all the neighborhood families, teaching their children how to ride and take care of horses. Frank would always let them ride his horses if they did not have one of their own.
He accepted people for who they were and was never judgmental. Frank was loved by each and every one of them and will be truly missed by all.
He is survived by daughter Marion Ragsdale and husband Jeff of McKinney; son, Gary Hill and wife Kris of Edgewood, Texas; grandchildren, Tammy, Tracy, Cristy, Lauren, Casie and Cooper; nine great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Grace Crosson; sister Juanita Stokes of McKinney.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Delois Crosson; sons, Kenneth Leon and Jackie Ray Crosson; parents and four siblings.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2012 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Brother DeWayne Owens officiating. Interment is to follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
