Police search for suspect in attempted murder

The Plano Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a suspect in connection with an attempted capital murder case.
On April 26, a black male suspect entered the Family Dollar Store located in the 1800 block of K Avenue in Plano. The man was dressed as a female and attempted to rob the store clerk. The employee fought the suspect, who attempted to fire a handgun at the employee.
A warrant has since been issued for Everett Travane Haile, a 30-year-old from Houston. He is described as standing about 5-foot 8-inches tall and 188 pounds, with a bald or shaved head and brown eyes.
