Last Day to Earn Points for Town East Mall My School�s Cool Competition is Sunday, May 20

In August 2011, nine schools enrolled in the My School’s Cool program at Town East Mall. Throughout the school year, students, teachers, family members and friends have been turning receipts from stores at the shopping center into points in the hopes of their school earning a share of $20,000 in cash prizes.
As the My School’s Cool program nears completion, Town East Mall reminds everyone that Sunday, May 20 is the last day for receipts to be eligible for this school year’s competition. Town East Mall receipts dated Wednesday, August 1, 2011 to Sunday, May 20, 2012 can be submitted to earn points for any of the participating schools and will count towards the final tabulation.
Town East Mall receipts with these qualifying dates must be dropped into one of the school lockers located on the lower level near jcpenney or turned in to the respective school for redemption. Shoppers who wish to retain receipts may take advantage of the Points Pass program by stopping in at the mall office from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for receipt validation.
Schools that are enrolled in the My School’s Cool program for the 2011-12 year include B.J. Smith Elementary, Barbara Walker Elementary, Central Elementary, George Kimball elementary, J.H. Florence Elementary, Larry G. Smith Elementary, McWhorter Elementary, Range Elementary and Wilkerson Middle School.

There is a limit to the number of schools that can participate and applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
