Police calls for April 1 – April 16 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

April 1

2:26 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 16000 block of Parvin Road. Denton County and Prosper say this is not theirs. May be Celina's. Told Prosper we will send Celina police department to large party at trailer at intersection of Parvin and Smiley Road. There is loud music and drinking. No party found upon arrival. Spoke to Reporting Person. No offense occurred.

11:13 a.m. - Assist other agency on County Road 87. Assist Collin County Sheriff's department with hit-and-run accident. Back up only.

2:57 p.m. -Disturbance in the 3300 block of Preston Hills Cr. Subject at location refusing to leave. Subject had left location and was located. Subject had left location and was located. Subject was issued a criminal trespassing warning.

6 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 2600 block of Stallions Lane. Rabid skunk has been shot with pellet gun. Collin County Animal Control contacted to retrieve dead skunk.

6:41 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances at railroad tracks and Malone. Subjects walking on railroad tracks. Advised subjects that walking on tracks is an offense and they continued walking beside the roadway.

6:55 p.m. - Trash dumping in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Reporting Person stated a black male in a blue Ford pickup is dumping trash into the school dumpster. RP is at batting cages if officer wants to make contact. Situation resolved, it was school employee.

9:37 p.m. - Reporting Person wants more patrol in area at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and County Road 133. Referred to another agency. After getting RP's address it was determined he did not live in Celina. Call was referred to the Collin County Sheriff's office.

11 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 400 block of East Beech Street. Dogs barking. Dog causing problem. Was a stray. Resident allowed dog to be put in back yard till Animal Control can pick up the dog during normal hours.

April 2

2:51 a.m. - Welfare check in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Subject passed out in vehicle in carport. Woke subject up and he went into house to go to bed.

5:10 p.m. - Theft in the 500 block of East Pecan Street. Reporting Person state that her son's wallet was stolen from the field house. Offense report filed.

6:37 p.m. - Peddler complaint at Twin Lakes and Frontier. Reporting Person states there is a large moving van parked in middle of road and subjects are going door to door trying to sell things. Venders had permits to sell for Prosper, not Celina. Explained how to go about getting permit.

7:20 p.m. - Noise complaint at Ash and New Mexico. Loud music and people dancing in the street. Unable to locate.

April 3

12:43 a.m. - Parking violation in the 400 block of Dartmoor Drive. Parked facing traffic. Crime card completed. Courtesy notice left.

5:21 a.m. - Major accident in the 2900 block of South Preston Road. Major accident involving 2 vehicles, both vehicles towed. Driver of unit no. 2 was transported by Celina fire department.

2:47 p.m. - 911 hang-up in the 1300 block of East Missouri Street. Dispatch recoded call to a medical call. 51-year-old having medical problems.

5:30 p.m. - Motorist assist at County Road 55 and Preston. Gray SUV parked in traffic lane. Vehicle out of gas. Driver back on road.

7:24 p.m. - Theft in the 500 block of Mustang Trail. Reporting Person stated that his and his wife's identity have been stolen. Offense report filed.

April 4

6:27 a.m. - Down power lines in 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Power lines sparked. Assist fire department. Power company will respond.

7:20 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Two juveniles making out and acting suspicious at front of old middle school. Talked with two juveniles who are waiting for high school bus. No offense occurred.

10:07 a.m. - Citizen assist at Pecan Street police station. Assisted five citizens with reports and directions.

5:44 p.m. - Motorist assist at Farm-to Marked Roads 455 and 2478. Vehicle on side of road with flashers on. Vehicle had flat, AAA tow truck arrived while officer was still on scene.

10:38 p.m. - Backup officer at County Road 89 and Preston. Attempt to locate possible intoxicated driver. Did not locate vehicle.

10:38 p.m. - Reckless driver at Preston and Carter and County Road 89. Green SUV with lawnmower handle hanging out back window just turned on County Road 89. Vehicle was all over roadway. Patrolled County Road 89 and 90, no signs of vehicle, unable to locate.

April 5

2:27 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 1700 block of Settlers Ridge Road. Open gate on Morgan Lake pump station. No one inside. Gate was secured.

9:43 a.m. - Phone call regarding the 400 block of West Maple Street. Adult daughter refuses to leave rent house. Civil matter, explained eviction requirement.

9:54 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at County Road 84 and Frontier. White pickup driving around looking suspicious. Unable to locate. May have been mailman who just left this area.

12:01 p.m. - Criminal trespass in the 8600 block of County Road 133. Assist Collin County Sheriff's office, subject at location taking trailer. Backup only, assist CCSO with call.

3:32 p.m. - Traffic hazard at Louisiana and County Road 95. Iron ore spilled on roadway. Situation resolved.

5:13 p.m. - Motorist assist in the 1800 block of North Preston Road. Assisted driver with flat tire.

9:10 p.m. - Traffic stop at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Dallas Parkway. Drove left of center not passing. Driver arrested for possession of marijuana.

April 6

12:17 a.m. - Follow-up investigation in the 16000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Follow-up on information from traffic stop and arrest earlier in shift. Evidence was seized and information was added to the report.

12:26 a.m. - Traffic hazard at Preston and Frontier. Traffic hazard near Celina city limits sign. Where construction is there are 3 or 4 barricades in middle of road. Moved barricades off roadway.

1:10 a.m. - Backup officer in the 16000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Assisted officer with marijuana plants in pot located behind residence.

1:55 a.m. - Juvenile problem in the 5400 block of Pebble Creek Drive. Four teenage boys have been walking around and ringing people's doorbells. Rang Reporting Person's doorbell about 3 minutes ago. RP wants officer to check area. Did not locate the juveniles.

2:15 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 400 block of Dartmoor Drive. Dog at corner of Palomino and Mustang is barking. Unable to locate. Dog was no longer barking, no noise in the area.

8:06 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Shawnee Trail. Honda coupe left at location. Vehicle found locked and secured. No offense.

6:09 p.m. - Missing person in the 2800 block of Quarter Horse Lane. Seven-year-old male has been missing for an hour. Was outside playing with friends when he disappeared. Child was located.

6:32 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 3000 block of Cedar Trail. Two dogs running loose in front yard. Owner of dogs threatening to sic her dogs on kids walking in front of house. Reporting Person advised dogs have had a history of being very aggressive. No report per complainant. Explained to dog owners about city ordinance.

6:39 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of Dartmoor Drive. Officer noticed subject covered in blood who appeared to be arguing with another person in the driveway. Spoke to both persons and subject stated he was involved with some pictures being taken where they wanted the people covered in blood. Spoke to person taking pictures, he had same story. No offense occurred.

9:20 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 300 block of West Main Street. Reporting Person advised 5 to 6 juveniles were trying to break windows at abandoned house. Subjects left going south on Ohio. Checked area for juveniles. Found door open on house, building searched and doors secured. Unable to locate juveniles.

11:42 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of South Ohio. Caller states that 2 teenagers were standing in front of his vehicle. They took off running when they looked outside. LS heading westbound on foot. Checked area, unable to locate.

April 7

12:31 p.m. - Reckless driver in the 3400 block of North Preston Road. Referred to another agency. Call given to Prosper police department due to location of vehicle.

3:48 p.m. - Loose livestock at Pecan and Oklahoma. Horse walking west on Pecan. Owner contacted and picked up animal.

9:25 p.m. - Theft in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Reporting Person advised someone drove off without paying for gas, headed for Prosper. Offense report completed.

9:39 p.m. - Noise complaint at Louisiana and Oak. Loud music in area. Spoke to director, music will be turned down.

10:13 p.m. - Open door in the 2800 block of Arabian Lane. Reporting Person stated he found an open door on a friend's house that is out of town. Building searched, door secured. Documentation only.

10:42 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 300 block of South Louisiana Drive. Loud party, explained that party needs to end. Director agreed.

11:53 p.m. - Suicidal subject on Elm Street. Reporting Person stated her husband is drunk and driving to Gunter to get a gun so that someone can shoot him. He is armed and is on his way back from Gunter. Located subject. Subject was detained for mental evaluation and transported to Green Oaks in Dallas.

April 8

3:43 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Light Farms and County Road 51. Black Chevrolet pickup blacked out on Light Farms Road. Occupants stated they were talking. They were allowed to leave.

6:39 a.m. - Animal complaint in the 500 block of Paddock Lane. Barking dog, located barking dog. Unable to make contact with owner by knocking and phone.

5:21 p.m. - Firearm complaint in the 4000 block of Preston Lake Circle. Reporting Person stated there is rapid gunfire. Unknown where exactly it is coming from. Shooters were being responsible but did not know about the property size on which guns could be fired. Explained laws to shooters and RP.

8:53 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 200 block of Mustang Trail. Reporting Person stated someone went through her yard, broke off branches from her tree and placed branches all over front year. RP just wanted officers to know what happened.

9:44 p.m. - Domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Louisiana Drive. Reporting Person stated a couple walked up to the fire department and stated that they wanted to talk to an officer. Female said she wants male gone. Explained that she could not just kick him out. She will have to go through the court. Documentation only.

10:20 p.m. - Assist Fire Department in the 4600 block of High Point Drive. Reporting Person can smell smoke in her house. Task completed.

10:36 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 3200 block of Morgan Drive. Reporting Person stated that there is a red Volkswagen beetle with its alarm going off. Checked area, alarm had already been reset.

April 9

7:37 a.m. - Suspicious person at Preston and Farm-to-Market Road 455. Subject walking. F1 completed.

10:56 a.m. - Criminal mischief in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Criminal mischief at junior high school Offense report completed.

4:31 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 400 block of Shire Court. Juveniles riding small motorcycle on street. Did not see juveniles riding motorcycle on the street, but located them and parents who will take care of the situation.

7:15 p.m. - Fraud in the 2800 block of Saddlebred Trail. Someone used Reporting Person's Social Security card. Incident filed for fraud.

8:03 p.m. - Minor accident in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Vehicle backed into another vehicle in parking lot. Happened on private property. Less than $1,000 damage, information exchanged. No accident report.

10:23 p.m. - Backup officer at Preston and County Road 134. Two in custody, taking food from vehicle to children on County Road 179. Searched house for further narcotics, seized multiple syringes and needles with possible meth or black tar heroin. Child Protective Services removed the three children from the home, taken to CAC.

April 10

11:23 a.m . - Minor accident in the 1000 block of County Road 94. Vehicle struck a brick mailbox. Accident report completed.

3:43 p.m. - Assist other agency at Preston and Twin Lakes. Assist Prosper police department with traffic control on major accident.

9:37 p.m. - Minor accident in the 900 block of South Preston Road. DWI struck another vehicle. Driver arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

10:11 p.m. - Backup officer in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Assisted officer on minor 10-50. Arrested driver for DWI.

April 11

2:10 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Vehicle setting in church parking lot at night. Subjects given directions to 35 East. No offense occurred.

2:39 p.m. - 911 hangup in the 2800 block of Arabian Lane. Reporting Person misdialed. Location secure.

4:08 p.m. - Civil matter in the 400 block of North Illinois Drive. Twelve-year-old Hispanic female is being called names by a 6-year-old Hispanic female. Advised RP that her parents need to speak with the other girl's parents to resolve this issue.

8:10 p.m. - Theft in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Gas drive-off. Located driver who returned and paid for fuel.

9:08 p.m. - Followup investigation in the 900 block of Lake Worth Trail. Followup on gas drive-off. Spoke to driver. He will pay for fuel before 10 a.m. on Thursday.

April 12

7:48 a.m. - Minor accident in the 900 block of West Frontier Parkway. Accident involving four vehicles with juveniles driving. Only one vehicle had visible damage. Owners wanted to handle it on their own. All drivers go to Prosper High School together and have exchanged information. No accident report.

3:43 p.m. - Unattended death in the 700 block of West Elm Street.

April 13

9:53 a.m . - Traffic complaint at Preston and Frontier. Construction zone, Preston Road will be reduced to one lane during construction today.

12:25 p.m. - Traffic complaint at Preston and Frontier. Cars not stopping for blinking red lights. Referred to another agency. Texas Department of Transportation will monitor situation during construction.

6:27 p.m. - Loose livestock in the 4200 block of County Road 84. Reporting Person had calf secure in fence.

April 14

11:41 a.m. - Reckless driver at Preston and Farm-to-Market Road 455. Vehicle on Preston Road at high speed and passing on shoulder, gray Honda. Unable to locate.

3:48 p.m. - Abandoned vehicle at Frontier and Farm-to-Market Road 2478. Red vehicle off roadway in ditch. No one present. Not a hazard at this time.

April 15

12:12 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 100 block of North Louisiana Drive. Open fence at D&V Autos. Location secure. Officers locked fence.

12:42 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 100 block of East Elm Street. Observed broken down gate at location. No one inside fenced area. Doors secure. Possibly weather related. Time of discovery documented.

11:45 a.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Kids fishing in pond with a net. Two white, 11-year-old males were located and returned to their parents. They did not take any fish from the pond.

11:51 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances at Palomino and Carter Ranch. Stop sign has three bullet holes in it. Documentation only.

8 p.m. - Suspicious person at 3400 block of Twin Lakes Drive. Three Hispanic females and Hispanic male going in and out of vacant house. Called in by Prosper Police Department. P&M Maintenance at location cleaning residence. Supervisor at location with paperwork.

9:05 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 400 block of Stefhanie Drive. Loud party and fireworks going off at address. No noise observed or party detected. No report taken.

11:37 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances at Walnut and Colorado. Observed vehicle circling area. Contact made, driver searching for her 17-year-old son. No offense occurred.

April 16

9:22 a.m. - Minor accident in the 2000 block of South Preston Road. No injuries, report filed.
