Recycle your Christmas trees through Jan. 8

The Town of Little Elm Christmas Tree recycling program will be accepting Christmas trees through Jan. 8 at the Courtesy Bulk Drop Site, located on Brenda Lane just west of Preston on the Lakes Boulevard intersection.
The site will be open from 4-8 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, or until full. The site will be open for normal hours on New Year's Day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The site will be closed for construction on Jan. 9.
Christmas trees must have lights, ornaments and stands removed prior to dropping them off at the site. An attendant will be on-site during the hours of operation.
