No school Feb. 8, debate team advances to state
Staff reports
All Little Elm ISD school will be closed Feb. 8 for students. Teachers and staff will be engaged in staff development activities. Campus offices will be closed to the public. The district's administrative offices will be open to the public from . until 4:30 p.m.
Little Elm High School students Michael Alonzo and Rhiannon Houston placed second at the district debate competition. They will advance to state competition to be held in march.
The LEHS winterguards competed last weekend at two NTCA contests. The non-varsity guard placed seventh in the Regional AAA class, and the varsity took first in the scholastic A class.
