Girls soccer: McKinney girls teams prevail

Emily Reid and Kelley Monogue scored to lead McKinney Boyd to a 2-0 victory at Ron Poe Stadium in District 8-5A on Friday.
Allen remained tied with Boyd for first place by winning at Plano East, 1-0.
Plano won at Wylie, 3-0.

Abby Smith scored three goals as McKinney won, 7-0, at home over Little Elm on Friday.
Meg Stofer and Amanda Frisbie each punched in two goals.
